Brilliant!! Such a good read. That’s fascinating how much longer females put up with discomfort and yet, not surprising at all. I always love a reminder to trust ourselves and what we’re experiencing, rather than looking outward to measure what we’re experiencing and if it’s “valid”. Oof!

Such an interesting read, Kyra! I am definitely one of those who might notice something's up, but then compare it to everyone else's reaction - either gaslighting myself into believing it isn't a big deal because it isn't a big deal to anyone else, or feeling enormously ashamed that it's such a big deal to me and not to anyone else. Thank you for this, it's a good reminder to treat my own sensitivities and reactions with as much validity as I would someone else's.
